(Walt Disney Imagineering, 1960s) A concept drawing of a proposed scene in the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction. This sketch of a pirate crew hauling their treasure down from a cave far above a boat full of Park guests shows how Imagineers could evoke a moody scene that tells a tale even in a rough drawing. Accomplished in felt tip and pencil on vellum, this original concept drawing measures 14” x 16.75”, and displays in good condition, even with small tears, edge wear, creasing, and folds from original production use.
