(Disney, 1963) A pair of “Mary Poppins” acetates pressed for live-action playback including “Jolly Holiday” “A Spoonful of Sugar,” “I Love to Laugh,” and “Let's Go Fly a Kite.” The songs were prerecorded and played on set during filming while the actors lip-synched for the camera. One record is dated “May 9, 1963,” only the third day of production, very early in the making of one of the most beloved musicals of all time. Measuring 12” in diameter, the 33 ⅓ RPM records are in good condition with scratches, scuffs, and several chips at the edges.
