(Disney, 1946) A pair of unused rough animation drawings of Mickey Mouse by Disney Legend Fred Moore from the production of “Squatter’s Rights.” These pieces were intended for the sequence in the short where Mickey strikes a match and tries to light a gas stove, but Chip ‘n Dale blow it out. Moore is best known for his redesign of Mickey Mouse, adjusting the iconic character from a traditional rubber hose style to the design still used today. With character image sizes ranging from 4.5” x 6” to 4.75” x 5.5” on 10” x 12” drawing paper, the pieces are in very good condition with light creases, wear, and discoloration from age.
