(Paramount, 1984) Two drafts of the screenplay for “Beverly Hills Cop,” one a third draft dated February 20, 1984, and the other script undated. Sylvester Stallone was briefly attached to the project, and did a dramatic rewrite of the script. Both of these drafts incorporate elements from
Stallone’s version, including his change of the character’s name to “Axel Cobretti” and a car chase finale. Stallone later took ideas from his “Beverly Hills Cop” and made the action film “Cobra,” with the lead character named Cobretti. Measuring 8.5” x 11” each, the “Beverly Hills Cop” screenplays are in good
to very good condition with creases, smudges, stains, and wear from production use.
