(Disneyland, 1984) A unique pair of picket signs from the historic Teamsters Union Strike of Disneyland in 1984. These signs were created and used by some of the 1,800 picketers facing a wage freeze, who went on strike for 22 days until an agreement was reached. This set notably includes both a printed picket sign and a hand-drawn picket sign that was featured in a Times newspaper photo image depicting Its a Small World Attractions Hostess Karen Jenson. The signs are accompanied by xerox copies of the newspaper article featuring Jenson. Measuring 22”x14” on a 42” stick this historic artifact is in very good condition, with scuffs, spots of discoloration, and wear from original use.
