(Disney, 1939) A magazine clipping signed by Walt Disney with a dedication "To Nancy with Best Wishes." Walt boldly signed in black ink across an image from the 1939 remake of Disney's "The Ugly Duckling" clipped from an April 4, 1939, PIC magazine article on the making of the cartoon. Walt's signature measures 4" x 1.25" on the 6" x 5.25" visible clipping. This piece comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from Phil Sears. The clipping has not been examined out of its 15" x 14.25" frame but displays in very good condition with an off-white color shift as expected from age.
