(Various Studios, 1930s-60s) A large collection of 43 publicity photos from throughout the golden age of Hollywood filmmaking. Sets in the lot include six photos from "The Mighty Barnum" (1934), six from "Seventh Heaven (1937), six from "Men Without Souls" (1940), 10 from "The Story of Doctor Wassell" (1944), and 8 from "Inside Daisy Clover" (1965). Also included are portraits of Jane Wyman, Colleen Moore, 2 of Jeanette MacDonald, and one of Edgar Bergen with Charlie McCarthy. The final pair of portraits are a striking pair of Norma Shearer and Basil Rathbone in costume for the 1936 MGM production of "Romeo and Juliet" taken by noted Studio photographer Clarence Sinclair Bull. Each print measures 8" x 10", with some printed to 8" x 11" paper with the tab perforated for binding. The photos are in very good to fine condition with typical wear from handling and age.
