(Disney-MGM Studios, 1989) A Busby Berkeley dancer figure from the opening scene of the Great Movie Ride. The first tableau recreates Berkeley's 1933 Footlight Parade with a "cake" of about thirty identical dancers. For the first year of the ride's operation, this cake rotated with water jets, but mechanical and plumbing problems led to it modifying into a static scene with light effects adding "kinetics." Measuring 78"x35.5"x13.5", the figure is in very good condition, with the right index finger missing, a spot of paint loss to the left hand, and small scuffs and wear from handling and Park use.
