(Disney, 1960) An original production cel of the mother from "Goliath II." This cartoon is noted for being Disney’s first full project to use the xerographic "inking" process. The cel was trimmed and prepared for sale by the Art Corner in Tomorrowland, and is presented on a printed background and mounted to a backing board with a gold Art Corner label on the reverse. With a character image size of 6.5" x 9" on an 8" x 10" visible cel in an 11" x 14" matte, the piece displays in good condition with some waviness, very slight paint loss to the trunk and the crown of her head, and light surface wear. The matte is almost entirely detached from the cel and shows discoloration from age, a crease in the lower margin, and some spotting.
