(Warner Bros., 1949) The original production background for the opening shot of "Dough for the Do-Do,” directed by Friz Freleng. This Merrie Melodies short was virtually a shot-by-shot remake of Bob Clampett’s 1938 Looney Tunes cartoon "Porky in Wackyland.” Accomplished in ink, gouache, and pencil and measuring 7.5” x 9.5”, the background displays in good condition, with wear including pinholes from production use, discoloration to the paper from age, light smudging to the pencil written text on the left side, and spotting to the sides that do not affect the image.
