(Disney, 1950s-60s) A rare early Disneyland Records store display. This point-of-sale wooden and metal display rack announces itself as the Disneyland Records Children’s Corner, with an image of Tinker Bell on each side declaring “The Finest Value in Children’s Records.” The display features eight wireframe racks to hold 12” records, with a shelf at the bottom to hold 7” singles. Measuring 26.5” x 19” x 72.5” high, the display is in good condition, with wear throughout from age and storage, including oxidation to the wireframe racks and metal legs, scuffs and staining, edge wear, and a 2” area of discoloration along the top edge likely from water exposure. The top sign elements are bright and clear, particularly the “Disneyland Records” oval, with the “Children’s Corner” sign exhibiting small scuffs and spotting on close examination. The Tinker Bell graphic on the right-hand panel is in very good condition with some spotting that appears possibly original to production, while the left-hand graphic shows wear mainly to white areas including Tinker Bell’s hair and the word “records.”
