(Disneyland, 1955-2006) A window panel from the Lilly Belle car, removed during a rehabilitation in 2006. The former Grand Canyon car had a different layout to the windows than the regular passenger cars, with six sets of large double windows instead of 12 small windows. This narrow panel was the top of one of the large windows with the straight edge facing its match and curved edge towards the next pair. This window was a part of Disneyland history from the very beginning, on board the train Walt drove into Main Street Station in the “Dateline Disneyland” television broadcast on July 17, 1955. Measuring 25.5” x 6.5” with a glass size of 23.25” x 4.5”, the window is in very good condition, with expected wear and soiling from its long service in the Park.
