(Disneyland, 1967) An extremely rare MAPO-designed circuit board for the Carousel of Progress at Disneyland. The manufacturing arm of Imagineering incorporated in 1965 and took its name from “Mary Poppins,” Disney’s ground-breaking film of 1964. Mary appears in the logo stamp of MAPO on this “Interface show start-up” circuit board, which was created for the Carousel of Progress as it moved from the 1964-65 World’s Fair to Disneyland, where it opened in 1967. Measuring 2.75” x 6.5”, the circuit board is in very good to fine condition, with discoloration from age only.
