(Paramount, 2010) A prop "American Gothic" mousterpiece seen in the opening credits of "Dinner For Schmucks." Included are the framed photo seen in the film, the mice with props, the farmhouse model, and the hand-painted orchard background, all used to create the photo. In the film, Steve Carell's character, Barry, creates "Mousterpieces," taxidermy mice dioramas of famous artworks and moments from his life. The Chiodo Brothers created the prop, using fabricated mice to ensure no rodents were harmed during its creation. Measuring 9.5" x 2" x 10.5", the mixed-media diorama is in very good condition with light scratches, scuffs, and wear from production use, while the mice exhibit discoloration, matting, hair loss, and tackiness on the tail from age and use.
