(Disney, 1938) A program and (3) photos from"Walt's Field Day." To celebrate the stellar success of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Walt held a "Field Day" at the Lake Narconian Club for all Disney Studio Personnel on June 4th, 1938. The Program of the Day lists the itinerary while the (3) photos depict the group swimming events, dinner, and dancing. This party became somewhat infamous in Disney history, for the extremes employees enjoyed during this rare opportunity to unwind. This small collection once belonged to Ken O'Brien and offers a rarely seen glimpse into the day. The program measuring 5.75"x8.5" is in good condition, with two perforated meal tickets for the event missing, and exhibiting a few small tears, creases, folds, spots of discoloration, and wear to edges and corners. The 8" x 10" photos are in good condition, three-hole punched on their left edge.
