(EPCOT, 1982-83) A collection of two EPCOT Center commemorative medallions, two invitations, and four RSVP cards with envelopes. The pair of medallions, affixed to cards, were given on the Park’s opening day to individuals who contributed to the creation of EPCOT Center. One of the medallions was given to Ken Kerr, the graphic artist responsible for the Park’s logo and signage. The invitations and RSVP cards were for special showings of two exhibits: A Thousand Years of Chinese Tomb Art and Pre-Columbian Art of Mexico. Ranging in size from the 1.5” in diameter medallions to the 5” x 7” invitations, the items are in good to fine condition with light edge wear, creases, and handling wear.
