(Disneyland, 1960s-70s) A collection of 24 rare Santa Fe & Disneyland Railroad buttons. In 1954, the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railway became a sponsor of the trains inWalt’s new Park. Walt Disney, a train enthusiast, worked closely with the company to design an authentic uniform for his Cast Members, which included buttons very similar to those used on Santa Fe’s trains. Ranging from 0.5” to 1” in diameter, the buttons are in good condition with light scuffs and wear from use.
