(Various, 1920s-1960's) A collection of (7) well-played with toy planes dating back to the early days of aviation. The set includes (6) diecast metal planes, and (1) well assembled plastic model kit of an unidentified Army two seat propellor plane. The metal toys include a 1950 pressed steel Wyandotte Twin Prop (repainted), a 1968 Gragston Sopwith Camel toy, a 1920's era Cast iron "the MonoCoupe" #353 plane, an early red and yellow cast iron single prop plane with "N4" on the wings, a silver painted cast iron plane with red stars, and a very rusted 1930's era Wyandotte Crusader Airplane. Measuring up to 9.5"x6", while their technical conditions range from very good to poor, the nostalgia factor of all of these toys is excellent.
