(Cambria Productions, 1959-60) An original production drawing from the “Clutch Cargo” episode “The Arctic Bird Giant,” featuring Clutch, Spinner, Paddlefoot, Snowshoe Slednick, and his dog. Snowshoe is best known to modern audiences as being featured in Quentin Tarantino’s blockbuster film, “Pulp Fiction.” The graphite drawing has been trimmed to the character image size of 7” x 9” and displays in fine condition. “Clutch Cargo” is known for being the first cartoon to utilize Syncro-Vox, a technique of superimposing live action footage of the voice actors’ mouths reading their dialogue over the animated images as a way to keep production costs low.
