(Bushman, 1950s) A brownline drawing of a sailing ship by Disney Legend Bruce Bushman. Bruce, often referred to as "The Father of Fantasyland," spent years creating the look of Disneyland with his spectacular concept art of attractions like Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland, Casey Jr, and Dumbo. He also spent time on an early, alternate Pirates of the Caribbean concept as well as the production of "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea." The drawing is from an unknown project but features sailors approaching a ship in what looks like a scene from a pirate movie or attraction. Measuring 18" x 23.25" visible in a 25" x 30" frame, the drawing is in good, production-used condition with fading and discoloration from age.
