(Clampett, 1934) A drawn diary sketch by Bob Clampett. Dated January 27, 1934, Clampett depicts himself taking bows for the audience (while they boo him and throw tomatoes at him) at the Warners Hollywood Theater as his credit for “Pettin’ In The Park” appears on screen (filling half the screen). With an image filling the full 9.5” x 12” animation paper, the drawing accomplished in graphite and colored pencils is in fine condition, with expected light color shift to the paper from age.
