(Disneyland/Walt Disney World/EPCOT, 1972-82) A large scrapbook containing an extensive collection of Disney Park and other vacation destination ephemera. Collected on visits to Walt Disney World in 1972 and 1981, Disneyland in 1980, and EPCOT in 1982, included are many dozens of tickets, receipts, pamphlets, brochures, and straw wrappers, themed to the Parks, resorts, and restaurants visited. Also included are ephemera from tourist destinations, including Universal Studios, the Queen Mary, Forest Lawn Glendale, Mount Vernon, the U.S. Mint, and more. Included are the only examples we have seen of a ticket and brochure for the legendary 1981 exhibit on Animation and Animators at the Whitney Museum in New York that was attended by most of Walt’s legendary Nine Old Men. The scrapbook is further decorated with clipped photos and articles from magazines, with several hundred pieces inside. Measuring 12.25" x 14.5", the scrapbook with roughly 100 pages is in very good condition. The ephemera inside displays in fine to fair condition, some showing wear or discoloration from age, all firmly adhered in place within the scrapbook.
