(Dell, 1952) A March 1952 issue of Dell’s Walt Disney Comics and Stories. This issue features the first printing of Carl Barks’ classic Uncle Scrooge story “Statuesque Spendthrifts," in which Scrooge and the Maharajah of Howduyustan compete to literally overshadow Duckburg with the largest statues of the town’s founder, Cornelius Coot. The comic book is in good condition with edge wear, especially seen along the spine, slight discoloration from age, and a 0.5" torn corner to the bottom left of the cover.
