(Disney, 1955) A pair of direct-to-disc master studio acetate recordings from 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. These discs captured live instrumental performances during recording sessions of Joseph Dubin's score for the sci-fi classic and were used to create the soundtrack of the finished film. Both retain their original Walt Disney Productions paper labels with handwritten notations of "Organ" dated 3-30-54 on one and "Toccata" dated 3-29-54 on the other, both nine months before the theatrical debut of the film. The Toccata disc is additionally stamped "Master." Both retain their original paper sleeves. Each disc measures 16" in diameter and is in very good condition with only minor wear. The paper sleeves exhibit some chipping and tears.
