(Disneyland, 1955) A scarce souvenir pass for the Carolwood Pacific Railroad at Walt Disney's estate in Holmby Hills. These passes were printed exclusively for use at Walt's personal backyard railroad, and the front of the card includes a line at the bottom where Walt would authorize the pass. Many Imagineers, including Disney Legends Harper Goff and Ward Kimball, shared Walt's passion for trains, and Walt's Carolwood Pacific Railroad would be the later become the influence for the Disneyland Railroad. Due to the limited capacity of the ride and ongoing safety issues, no further cards were issued after 1953 and the remaining passes for 1954-55 were stored at the Retlaw offices. This unused pass measures 2.25"x3.75" and is in very good condition with minor wear.
