(Universal, 1979) A complete set of copy storyboards bar bound in pressboard covers from the Steven Spielberg WWII comedy, 1941. The contents consist of (380+) xeroxed pages of hand drawn storyboards depicting the intended composition of virtually every shot in the film with handwritten captions describing the action to take place therein. This comprehensive continuity sketchbook would have been a vital resource for Spielberg, cinematographer Bill Fraker, and other departments during production of the film. Measuring 8.5"x14", the storyboards are in very good condition with some edge and corner creasing and wear from use. The covers exhibit tearing, creases, stress lines, and handling.
