(Disneyland, 1986) A life preserver prop from Disneyland's Mark Twain Riverboat. This particular life preserver was given to Don McGrath, who on March 25, 1986 passed through the Magic Kingdom's turnstile and became the 500 millionth Guest to enter a Disney Park. McGrath was given a gift from each of the four Parks at the time—Disneyland, the Magic Kingdom, EPCOT Center, and Tokyo Disneyland. This is perhaps the most well-preserved Mark Twain life preserver we have come across in our 30 years of operation. Measuring 25” in diameter, the canvas and rope prop displays in very good condition with typical scuffs, stains, wear, and discoloration from age.
